At Hope and Serenity we pride ourselves on having one of the most extensive, effective drug alcohol addiction treatment centers by treating our clients medically, spiritually, physically and emotionally. Our largest emphasis is on taking each individual through the twelve steps of recovery as outlined in the twelve step recovery programs of Alcoholics Anonymous and later Narcotics Anonymous. We have found that by focusing on the “disease concept” – the concept that addiction are illnesses and should be treated with love and acceptance rather than disgust and disregard, is a more positive way to address addiction. However, at the same time, alcoholics and addicts must come to accept that they are powerless over their addiction and get rid of their denial if they even hope for a chance to recover.

Drug Abuse Treatment Center
Our mission is to provide a loving, nurturing environment in which our clients can learn how to maintain a sober lifestyle by learning healthy, new tools and behaviors that counteract their old belief systems. We believe that everyone has had a different experience and may need different styles of drug addiction treatment in order to help them achieve the best results and continue living a sober life after they leave rehabilitation. By treating the underlying causes behind addiction, addicts and alcoholics have a greater ability to succeed and find their individual paths.
While we do not believe that people should forever be “dependent” on rehabilitation methods forever, we have found that by helping them heal from the inside out both within individual and group settings, they are able to build a stronger sense of themselves, and within a group, a stronger sense of community. For this reason, we incorporate the twelve steps of recovery into our drug treatment program and recommend that individuals continue to fin d a sense of community in which they can trust and confide. Recovery from addiction can be a difficult process, especially in the beginning but our treatment program was designed to be a positive, self-esteem building experience that has been proven effective for long-term sobriety.
